The Challanges

Gelblast.dk, a company specializing in innovative gel blaster toy products, was experiencing challenges with their existing webshop. Although their products had gained great popularity among customers, the webshop was characterized by inefficient sales processes and technical limitations that made it difficult for them to utilize their full potential.

A major challenge was the low conversion rate. Many customers visited the webshop but left without making a purchase. In addition, the navigation was confusing and the checkout process had too many steps, resulting in a high dropout rate. There was also a need to improve their customer experience by creating a more engaging and user-friendly webshop that could attract and retain customers.

The Solution. To meet Gelblast.dk’s needs, we developed a comprehensive strategy focused on optimizing their webshop and improving the customer experience. First and foremost, we redesigned the entire webshop to create a modern and intuitive platform that highlighted the unique features of the products. The design was created with a mobile-first approach to ensure that customers had a seamless experience across devices.

The checkout process was simplified and reduced to just three steps, helping to minimize friction and reduce churn. We also introduced visual indicators that gave customers a clear overview of where they were in the purchase journey and what steps were left.

To increase customer engagement, we added dynamic product recommendations and a “most popular products” section on the front page, helping customers discover relevant products faster. We also implemented a robust filtering feature that made it easy for customers to find specific products based on their needs and preferences.
